It's interesting that Dave Roberts has chosen to run as a Democrat, after he has supported Brian Bilbray in the past few elections. Roberts only registered as a democrat in February of 2009, and has a very public historical record of supporting Bilbray's campaigns as a republican leader.

Anyone who thinks that Roberts is a likely Democratic contender against Bilbray should really look into his background and ask him a few questions about his previous support of the Republican party, and the 50th's current lame-duck incumbent, Brian Bilbray.
