‘These findings could be the result of either an unwillingness to spend more or a more diligent checking of applicant qualifications.’”

If you look at the Voice of San Diego Special Reports, it will become clear that it is the County Supervisors' unwillingness to support the poor and sick in San Diego County that is to blame for San Diego's abysmal record.

These supervisors are willing to take taxpayers' money for their own six-figure slush funds, which they use to reward supporters and insure their reelection. They are willing to fund projects like the "Ugly Dog Parade" in Oceanside, rather than provide adequate food stamps for poor families or homecare for the elderly, blind and disabled.

Their arrogance, greed and insensitivity are astounding. That's why, for the first time in my life, I am supporting Term Limits for SD County Supervisors!
